Grandview High School student Marlowe Henderson wrote an essay that placed in
the top 20 in the Kindest Kansas Citian Essay Contest out of
5000 entries. He is one of two students
that placed. Junior Anthony Grimmett
wrote about his neighbor and made top three.
Henderson however wrote about Grandview’s own Officer Doug Thacker. Thacker is a School Resource Officer in our district. Thacker was honored as a “Kindest Kansas Citian” at a
