Project
Lead the Way (PLTW) held its 2016 Senior Showcase Tuesday. The showcase
celebrates ingenuity and creativity of PLTW high school students in engineering
and biomedical sciences. It is created by the KC STEM Alliance. Grandview High School students were among the
more than 300 students that had inventive projects on display. GC-4 was honored during the event with an
award for being one of several districts that has worked with Project Lead the
Way for 10 years.
PLTW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the nation’s leading
provider of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum and
high-quality teacher professional development model.
