Thirty-four new members made their pledge to Belvidere’s NEHS for the 2015-16 school year. The students were recognized during a special ceremony in front of classmates and family. The NEHS members were inducted for meeting criteria that included earning A’s and B’s and at least an 85% average or higher for one entire semester. They also had no more than one discipline referral, and students had to be in 4th or 5th grade.Guest speaker at this semester’s ceremony was Reverend Chris Hicks, Pastor of the Belvidere Heights Baptist Church. The school now has a total of 67 members in NEHS.
