The trick or treating got to an early start for theatre students at Grandview High School. Several students headed out to nearby neighborhoods Tuesday night to going door to door, not to collect candy but canned goods. It’s an effort for the Tot’s Eat community service project. GHS students JP Haley, Hope Lee, and Jessie Fuller collected a couple of bags of canned goods and non-perishable items that will be delivered to the Grandview Assistance Program.
“The students have a lot of fun dressing up and 'trick or treating,' and it’s a great way for them to make a difference in their own community.” said Rachel Taylor, Grandview High School’s Theatre Director.
This is an initiative theatre students (Thespians) across the United States are teaming up on to fight hunger in their communities.
