The Grandview C4 Board of Education was one of only five districts in Missouri honored as an Outstanding Board of Education in the category of Teaching, Learning and Assessment during the Missouri School Boards Association (MSBA) Leadership Summit on June 13, 2015. The Board was recognized for their leadership over the past three years as the district has shown high academic achievement. MSBA noted that "there is a tight alignment of building and department plans to the district strategic plan" and that "the Board continually reviews student achievement data to guide program and governance decisions." The Board received 97% of available points on their application.
